{"id":35,"date":"2008-09-13T12:30:54","date_gmt":"2008-09-13T19:30:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jamesg.net\/wordpress\/?p=35"},"modified":"2009-12-21T11:51:36","modified_gmt":"2009-12-21T18:51:36","slug":"devils-to-the-white-room-and-wonder-tunnel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jamesg.net\/?p=35","title":{"rendered":"Devils- To the White Room and Wonder Tunnel"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Dive Time<\/strong>&#8211; 59 Minutes.<strong><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Breathing Gas<\/strong>&#8211; 32%<strong><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Max Depth<\/strong>&#8211; 102ft<br \/>\n<strong>Visibility<\/strong>&#8211; 60-70ft<br \/>\n<strong>Water Temp<\/strong>&#8211; 71(F.)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Notes:<br \/>\n<\/strong>I lead this dive because I thought I knew where the white room was&#8230;.I was wrong.\u00a0 About a month ago, there was a white arrow that said &#8220;Steve&#8221; on it in red that marked the White Room and Wonder Tunnel.\u00a0 It&#8217;s not there anymore, and we swam a good 200ft+ past it before seeing it.\u00a0 I whipped out the wet notes and asked Brian if he had seen it, and he said he thought he had, so we headed back.\u00a0 Don was now in the lead, so once we arrived near the suspected location, he ran a spool towards the wonder tunnel.\u00a0 Just as he tied in, I had to call the dive on 1\/3rds.\u00a0 We were somewhat rushed on the way out, as we were creeping into deco.\u00a0 By the time we got to the cove off to the left of the ear (if you&#8217;re exiting, it&#8217;s on the right), we had 4min of deco.\u00a0 We stopped at 50ft for 1 min, 40 for 2min, 30 for 2min, 20 for 2min, and 10 for 2min.\u00a0 My computer hadn&#8217;t cleared, but I surfaced anyways, since we had just done 9min of deco when the computer only wanted 4min, but I guess since it wasn&#8217;t at 10ft, it didn&#8217;t count it.\u00a0 That locked the computer for 48hours.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/jamesg.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/devilswondertunnel91308.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[35]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-36\" title=\"Devils Ear to the Wonder Tunnel\" src=\"http:\/\/jamesg.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/devilswondertunnel91308-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dive Time&#8211; 59 Minutes.
